The heart of Jesus’ message is the desire for peace. Jesus called people to follow and find peace of heart and mind in God; He also called people to be at peace with one another. As Jesus put it “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.” (Matthew 5:9) CMUC is a “memorial church,” founded by veterans. Our purpose as a congregation is to honour our heritage as a memorial church by living the call of Jesus to be peace-makers. Our church life revolves around discovering internal peace and creating peace in the world.
