Worship and Music
Welcome!
Founded in 1950 by Canadian war veterans as a memorial to their fallen comrades, Carleton Memorial United Church today serves a community vastly different from the cluster of small homes on veterans' land holdings in the early development of Carleton Heights.
Over the years, the Church has served the growing community with worship services, Sunday School, mid-week activities for families and single people, youth and seniors. The outreach into the community has included English-language training for new Canadians, a day-care centre (CMDC Carleton Memorial Day Care) for the children of working parents, and most recently a home for the Jubilee Apostolic Pentecostal congregation.
Fellowship after Church- This is a time refreshments and desserts in Morgan Hall after the service provides a time for fellowship and conversation.
CHOIR - The choir assists in regular worship and also provides music on special occasions. Newcomers are welcome and professional musical training is not necessary.
Come and Join the Choir!
