Advent III Worship – Love + White Gift Sunday
December 11, 2022 @ 10:30 am - 11:30 pm
Come and celebrate Advent with us! Today we light the candle that symbolizes joy. The joy that we talk about when we think of Jesus and this world.
White Gift Sunday
White Gift Sunday is about giving what one can in the spirit of generosity and for the joy of sharing. We will be accepting gifts at church this Sunday which will be donated to Debra Dynes Family House.
At Carleton Memorial United Church we recommend bringing the following gifts: rice, pasta, beans, lentils, baby cereal, cereals, canned tomatoes, canned fruit, granola bars (peanut free), paper lunch bags, pudding packages for lunches, cheese and cracker snack packages, other staple foods.
Don’t forget to wrap your gifts in reusable grocery bags (if you can spare them), white paper, or grocery bags!
Our Sunday Worship is open to all who wish to visit. These services are focused on reflection and discussion about how we can strive to live our best lives. Join us after service for fellowship, coffee , tea and snacks afterwards. We are an affirming congregation: all are welcome regardless of gender orientation, ability, age, or sexual preference.
